2010 news
Congratualtions to Zach Freeman of Fayetteville PA for his
7th place overall finish at the Tour of Washington County. Zach took 5th place in the road race and 13th in the
time trial to end up the areas highest finisher.
Congratulations to Teresa Dumpe of Hagerstown MD
for completing the Florida 70.3 half ironman in May. This was Teresa's first ever triathlon of any distance.
Congratulations to Bernie Reeves of Singapore for qualifying for Ironman 70.3 World Championships
in Clearwater FL. Bernie also has his first Ironman on the radar for next summer in Europe as well.
2009 News
Mercury Endurance has partnered with Racine Multisports for 2010 and
beyond. We will be a series sponsor and the series coach as well. Look for many great things to
happen in years to come! More races, Open water swim clinics and triathlon clinics to name a few! We will
keep you posted!

Congratulations to Andy Mixell for completing
the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater Florida. His time of 4:32.14 was a PR by 20 minutes and surpassed
his goald time of 4:40 in the process.
Congratulations to Ralph Pisle for finishing
his first JFK 50 miler! He came in under 30 mins faster than his goal time. Ralph was also the team
captain for our MTEC adventure race we completed in October.
Tim Fisler finished
his second JFK 50 miler posting a 53 minute PR over last years race. He came home in 7:55 and got under his 8 hour
goal time.
Ray Jackson finished his 7th straight JFK 50 miler despite injuring his foot
early in the race. He still ran a solid race and capped off another great season where he
lowered is marathon PR in the process.
Mike Caley finished the Chesapeakeman Iron-distance
triathlon in September (his first iron-distance race). Great job, Mike!

Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii!
Kara Shiffer posted an impressive 4:46 at Eagleman for 7th overall
amateur female and has qualified for Clearwater for the second consecutive year. Kara has also won several races this
year as well as placing in the top 3 of her Age Group.

Congratulations to Kara Shiffer for her PR of 4:37.30 and her 11th place Age Group finish at the Ironman 70.3
World Championships in Clearwater, FL.
Congratulations to Mercury Endurance athletes Tim Fisler and Ray
Jackson Jr for completing the JFK 50 mile Ultramarathon. Ray posted a 56 minute PR finishing in 9:09.45. Tim completed
the race in 8:48.42, a rather impressive time for his first ultramarathon.
USMC Captain David Baril organized
and ran the first "Dirty Thirty" 50k race in Iraq on August 3rd in 90+ degree heat. Listen to his report at

Kara Shiffer posted a very impressive
half-Ironman debut time of 4:57.27 at the Rhode Island 70.3 and qualified for the 70.3 World Championships!
Marianne Henry, Mark Neubauer, and Kara Shiffer-Tustin represented Mercury Endurance at the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon,
resulting in an age-group podium spot for Kara and personal best times for Marianne and Mark--keep up the great work!
Caroline Cox set a 40 minute personal best half-Ironman time in June at the High Cliff Triathlon!
